Hotmelt tape applicators – Marotech

The Marotech applicator for hotmelt tapes consists of two parts:

The Distributor: it supports the reels and controls the tension of the tape
The Marobeam: guiding arm, it allows the insertion of the tapes inside the corrugator and ensures precise positioning of the tape on or in the cardboard web.

The DISTRIBUTOR

It can be used in combination with the patented MaroClip™ automatic splicing system, which allows the transfer of Marotape® tape reels at high speed and continuously.

The MAROBEAM

3 models available:

Marobeam^TM MKI: adjustable manual guide arm.
- Manual positioning of the tapes via crank on the operator side.
- Maximum position adjustment +-76 mm from the starting point.
- Insertion rail that is fixed to the corrugator, which facilitates the use of the device
- Corrugator width that can be covered: 2.8 meters
- Optional MKI height adjustment mechanism

Marobeam^TM MKII: intermediate range guide arm.
- Manual positioning of the tapes via crank on a worm screw on the operator side.
- Each tape can be moved across the entire width of the MaroBeam™, and its position is digitally displayed.
- Insertion rail that is fixed to the corrugator, which facilitates the use of the device
- Corrugator width that can be covered: 2.8 meters
- Optional MKI height adjustment mechanism

Marobeam^TM MKIII: latest generation automatic guide arm.
- Can position up to eight tapes across the entire width of the corrugator with an accuracy of +/- 0.5 mm.
- Automatic change of tape position in a few seconds, which allows for continuous order changes.
- Up to 200 orders can be stored in memory.
- Temposonics® positioning system that requires no calibration.
- Constant monitoring of each guide arm position with automatic repositioning if needed.
- Optional: Camera system that allows automatic movement of the guide arms based on the movement of the cardboard sheet.
